I tried posting this on Nick's Blog but alas there's something wrong in posting there too, so here's a redux.
As an avid member of this community for over a decade, I want to first thank Nick (Sean) for his work in bringing this site into existence. I know the amount of work to create, maintain, and sustain this site takes a herculean effort. Thanks to you goes unsaid a lot. As a teen who discovered this site during his late night explorations, it was a treasure trove of goodies I gored myself on.
However, it seems that with every update to the site, instead of a new feature added, some function is taken away, things get jumbled, or some unintended change becomes permanent and we cannot revert back. Whether it's photos or videos not uploading correctly or at all, photos albums being deleted for no understandable reason (no underage or questionable pictures), wall posts eradicated, long time correspondences with friends disappearing for no reason, favorite videos scrambled or deleted randomly, getting logged off randomly for no reason, and a surfeit of other problems, it seems clear GBT is an empty husk of it's former glory. These constant downgrades leaves a lot to be desired and it hurts knowing just how much I miss the old GBT.
I am not privy to the inner machinations of this site or the many dynamics and personalities keep this site running. Part of me is glad I don't know it because based on the gossip and stories I have heard from members (if it can be believed) there are some long standing grudges which seems petty and inappropriate on a gay video/photo site. However, it seems your stark indifference to your life's work leaves me at a point where maintaining my favorites and corresponding with likeminded perverts seems more of a chore. When I first joined, I loved making friends, browsing their uploads and favorite videos and getting off knowing we both shared the same kinks or interests.
