I say I don't have a preferred "type". Yet, often I will see a guy, famous or just out and about, and say, "Yeah, I guess that's my type right there!" Sometimes it's like a movie star or music star, be it River Phoenix, Shia LaBeouf, Elijah Wood (yes I also note that usually they have cute-as-hell names too), or Thom Yorke of Radiohead.
Other times I don't know where I get it from; but like, for example, Lee Harvey Oswald I always found extremely beddable (never mind he was straight), or someone who looks like him, or some other "disreputable character from history". (I seriously believe Oswald was totally framed and a patsy, but still he's "vilified" anyway by history.)
Anyone else here find a "bad guy", from the past or the present, attractive, or another guy who looks like him?

This is a slippery slope. The dynamics of communities tend forwards to a greater tolerance, if they acclimate to something.

Generating sympathy in homosexual or other sexual minority communities is an old tactic to parasitize from there legitime struggle for justice and usurp their struggle and the ethic-moralic foundations for themselves, although the object is absolutely not comparable, beause childrens and early puberteering teens aren't in the biological and psychical condition, to grasp or consent to a sexual coded behaviour. Morally Outlawing pedophilia in the society is right and necessary.
All what you earn in support these parasites is that you spoil everything good you want to do for homosexual and other sexual minorities.
Primarly pedophiles aren't monsters but they need help in control their desires. In Germany we have clinical programs for pedophiles, who don't want to harm anyone, that are called "Kein Täter werden" ("Not become a molestor") who they can talk und learn about to control.
First thing is to learn and accept, that your desires aren't normal and that children aren't consentable in no cases. This is important. The inital question of a person with a divergent sexuality is: Why I prohibited from to do, what my very nature told me. Sexual desires are a central fact in our human instincts and outlive them is part of a happy life. The instinct can become stronger, when it is unsatisfied for a long time.
At some point you begin to outsmart your conscience that keeps your instinct at bay by starting to justify your feelings. You begin to think: This is how i am. Why should I haven't the same happy sexuality like all other people. You begin to doubt the victimization of children. You declare them to sexual beings, who want and enjoy sex, to young adults, who can give consent, you grab into history or other cultures to declare boyloving to an old social acceptable or benefical cultural technique like in greece or japan. And then you betray yourself then, when you say "love" instead of "sex" to justify your interest in children, because you clearly know, that love is a good thing and prohibiting love is generally unmoral in the western way of thinking.
If you want to help pedophilias, who want to find a way to live with their condition it is the absolutely false way, to encourage them in their way of thinking or proudly expressing themselves in the way, we can see here. Using a symbol like the blue spiral is a clear signal of "I stand with pedophile ideology" not "I struggle with my self and need help". And it is absolutely the wrong way to empower these people to put their concerns - especially politically - on a par with the struggle of homosexuals or adapt them in your political struggle.
You must help their conscience to keep their instincts at bay and encourage them to proudly embrace boyloving isn't helpful. And for gay communities, who for a long time suffered from the prejudice of covering childsex, it's necessary to get distance from people, who propagate pedophilia.
