I'm just venting but curious how other members handle this type of situation. I keep getting friendship request (so far so good) so many are members that have nothing on their profile, no type of name, have contributed nothing to GBT and usually been member for close to a year or even two. I thought this was a sharing site. How do others handle this. Maybe nick18 should offer a 30trial membershipand unless you do'nt contribute "SOMETHING" every 90 days - you're kicked off GBT. I want friends and respect those I have and don't want to appear to be a hateful person but hoe can you have a friendship that only goes one way. Input, PLEASE. Thanks, Andy (now I'm ready for all the hate messages)

Thanks for all who are respomdingto this blog. A special thanks to grangeol. He hitto be for real friend the nail one the head. We all have our own opinion and sets of standards for friendship. I am genuine when I either request or accept a friend. It's for a real friendship where we can share with each other. Thanks everybody - All my best to each of you, Andy

I accept all requests. I see them as a statement that they like my profile. When the requester has posts great - especially those that match my taste.

not al of us are in a position to upload vids. i am grateful for all the good stuff on this site and would not refuse friendshipto anyone irrespective of downloads or not

Hey why didn't all of my comment get posted this sucks! Anyway @resq155 the whole comment didn't get posted I was sort of in agreement with you and I had added a big LOL at the end of my first sentence gezz. The way the comment was posted makes it look like your post was stupid and it's not, So here is the last of my comment as best as I remember,I think we can all tell who is the tourist and who is not.

i will not accept friendship requests unless i have all the info on them..age..country they live..and some info on likes and dislikes..and an avatar..if they don't want to post info..i give them my gmail address to send stuff..unless i get this then they are rejected..who wants friends that u know nothing about..if i accept them i send them a welcome aboard message!! MY RULES and it works for me anyway!!

I generally do not accept requests from those who have posted nothing, provide no information about themselves, and/or do not provide any particular reason why I would want to be their "friend". For many requests, it is clear they have not even looked at my profile (I always look at theirs). Since most requesters (either accepted or rejected) are never heard from again after you act on their request, I don't lose much sleep over rejecting these guys. For new guys, I usually wait for awhile on their requests to see they start becoming more active (I am always happy to provide information on how to post avatars, photos, and videos; you don't have to be a "friend" to exchange PMs). Of course, Mike1946 is a special case (what with that pregnant dog and all (I am sure the puppies will look just like him)).

it can be a pain in the ass but they could at least have a pic....i find it a bit rude to request a friendship and they dont even have a pic

when anyone requests friendship i accept and give them a 5star rating. if they have vids or pics i see what they have. i get some good stuff. it took me a while to start uploading.

How can you have a friendship that goes only one way. Why be friends with others that ALL they want is to take but never offer you anything?
